Seems that my initial creation of the FrontMyth package was hard coded for my environment.. So I've created a new version for public consumption. Get it here...

In case some people are wondering about why I use Front Row mixed with Myth? Partially because I've been using Myth for about 5 years now, and its been great. WHy not use that all the time, since it does everything that Front Row does? Well. Close. Front Row does one thing that Myth doesn't. Stream music from my MacBookPro, and Teri's MacBook. Both of our systems are running iTunes7, which means that nothing else will talk to iTunes7.. Pain in the ass if you ask me. Why did Apple do that? No idea. But there you have it. I run FrontRow, because I want to stream music. Myth for what Myth does well, recording TV.

Following on the heels my my announcement earlier this week about having a HelloWorld plugin for FrontRow, I've produced FrontMyth. Its a FrontRow plug in that will launch MythFrontend, and return to FR when exited. It currently assumes that MythFrontend is installed to /Applications/MythFrontend.app

I've even gone ahead and create a package. The beauty of this package and plugin is that the source code if fully included. So download, install, hack away.

We have completed our move, and I finally have the server back up and running.. Took me a while to get Myth going again due to some bug when running the config program remotely.. But now we have DVR goodness again. Thanks to Teri's mother, we also have 3/4's of the rooms painted.. We have our master bedroom, bathroom, and the two guest rooms left to paint. And lots of unpacking.. Everything got separated.. I have my jack (which I needed for aligning my bookcases..), but not the level I need to use it.. *sigh*.. I made to with some different unoffical tools..

Painting.. Most of the house is some sort of darkish tan... My office is pea soup puke green, which works really well with the Ikea furniture.. The main bath is -sky- blue ( 'scuse me while I paint the sky...) .. And Teri's office will be the same, and the spare bedroom will be a yellow. Haven't decided what our room is going to be yet...

In case you didn't know, Teri and I are moving.. One day, I was shooting at some food, and up came a bubbling crude.. No. Not really.

Packing and packing. Thats all we've (ok, Teri) have been doing. Well.. I did my office.. And swapped out the compact fl. bulbs for regular ones.. Also been planning out what we're going to do in the house (electronics, backyard, etc..)

SmugMug doesn't let you put the comments on top of the images unless you pay for a higher level of service.. Though you (as the viewer) can change your "style", and get them to appear on top.. But thats a pain. I wish I could set it myself...

I haven't updated this in a while.. Been to Cali and back, DC and back, and no updates. Man I'm good at being lazy..

Here's the deal.. Looks like we may be buying a house out in Maricopa. 2232, 4 bedroom (or 3 w/ den), 3 car garage, single story. Still deciding which one to buy, as there are several available. Should be fun. It'll be a longer commuter for both of us, Teri especially. If she doesn't transfer, its going to be about an hour, as a guess. I'll be around 30 minutes..

Also just recently upload some more pics to my new SmugMug account. Teri's mother wanted some pictures from their cross country trip, so I just upped the entire roll.. Here ya go..

Ok, that was the oddest ending to a season I've seen.. First, they seemly reveal 4 of the final cylons.. How they come together is that they all hear music, coming from somewhere in the ship.. the music turns out to be "All along the watchtower" by Bob Dylan (though the Hendrix version is much better known..)..

Umm.. What the?!?! And now we have to wait till 2008 to find out what the hell is going on...
